KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Puncak Borneo candidate Datuk Willie Mongin says his conscience is clear in wanting to join the coalition.
He said his decision stemmed from his desire to effectively serve the people in the constituency.
“It’s due to my genuine wish to serve the people more efficiently. I have been on both sides of the political divide. And GPS has proven to be able to deliver what it promised.
“So, you can take it from me that we must support and ensure GPS wins the seat for a better future of the people in the constituency,” he said at the official launch of GPS Puncak Borneo Election Machinery in Kampung Sinjok Community Hall in Siburan near here.
About 500 GPS leaders and supporters from Tarat, Mambong and Serumbu PBB divisions attended the event.
Tarat assemblyman, who is also Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister, Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn officiated at the launch. Also present were Mambong assemblyman and Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Dr Jerip Susil and GPS Youth chief cum Serumbu assemblyman Miro Simuh.
