KABONG: The establishment of a new Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) wing for youth, aged 18 to 28, is a necessity and interest for them, said Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir.
According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), Chee said that their needs and interests might be different from the other older age groups.
“Therefore, full support should be given for the establishment of this wing to accommodate the needs and interests of this group,” he said during the PBB N.40 Kabong Youth Movement meeting at Kabong Constituency Service Centre here, recently.
He also said that mature political policies are the core of the integrity of PBB which could make PBB as one of the dominant political parties in this state.
“Meanwhile, as youth members, you must also be prepared for the next general election (GE15) that will be held soon,” he said.
The meeting also saw several matters discussed including planning of activities for the youth movement.
