KOTA SAMARAHAN: A woman was injured in a collision between a Perodua Bezza and a Perodua Kelisa outside Bank Islam Desa Ilmu, Jalan Dato Mohd Musa here, last night (Mar 27).
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a call at 8.27 pm and dispatched a team of firefighters from the Samarahan Fire and Rescue Station to the scene.
“Subsequently, it was discovered that the woman driver sustained minor head injuries and reported discomfort in her right knee; she remained within the Perodua Kelisa but was not trapped.
“Concurrently, members of the public freed two other victims – a man and a boy – prior to the rescue team’s arrival,” it said.
The driver and passenger of the Perodua Bezza, both women, escaped injuries and managed to exit the vehicle on their own.
The team then proceeded to stabilise and helped the victim out of the Perodua Kelisa and provided initial treatment. She was later transported to the Sarawak Heart Centre by the Emergency Medical Response Service (EMRS) for further treatment.
