BINTULU: A 37-year-old woman was killed in a car accident at Taman Tinggi on Wednesday (Dec 21).
The accident happened around 12.30 am when the woman was driving with two other passengers on board in the car.
Both of them experienced mild injuries to the face and were rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment.
According to Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief Wan Kamaruddin Wan Ahmad, a team of firemen was despatched to the scene immediately after receiving a call at around 12.30 am.
He said that the 37 year old was pronounced dead by the Ministry of Health (MOH) paramedics.
“Once we arrived at the scene, we found out the accident involved a 4WD and a MPV vehicle.
“Three victims in the MPV vehicle were females and were stuck at the front and back seat,” he said.
He added that the operation commander had to use a rescue tool to rescue the three who were stuck to their seat.
