SIBURAN: A driver cheated death after escaping a horrific crash along KM25, Jalan Kuching-Serian yesterday (Sept 18).
Miraculously, the 26-year-old woman did not suffer any injuries in the 5.30 am accident near Kampung Rituh.
A spokesperson for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from the Siburan station were promptly dispatched to the scene after being alerted to the accident.
On arrival, the team found the car severely wrecked after it had crashed into a street lamp and road divider.
She managed to get out from the car unharmed. Paramedics later took her to the hospital for a medical check-up.
The team conducted flushing operations at the scene to clear the road of oil spills and debris before concluding the operation.
