KUCHING: A woman escaped with just minor injuries after she lost control of a multi-purpose vehicle and rammed a tree along Jalan Penrissen today.
Witnesses said that the driver, who was in her 30s, was heading to Serian when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a cement mixer and rammed a tree at Mile 8th around 2pm.
Passers-by rushed over to help the victim, who managed to exit the wrecked vehicle.
She suffered bruises and minor facial and body injuries following the impact of the collision.
The vehicle was severely damaged in the front area.
An ambulance was summoned shortly after and the victim was rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) where she was placed in the Yellow Zone.
