KUCHING: A self employed woman lost her handbag containing some cash, personal documents and valuables to a snatch thief last Monday afternoon. The woman said she was waiting at a bus stand at Jalan Abell when a man on a motorcycle snatched her handbag at about 2.30 pm.

She claimed that the handbag contained some cash and other valuables estimated at RM10,000. She has lodged a police report.

In another case, a 44-year-old teacher claimed in his police report that at about 2.30pm last Sunday he has parked his car at Taman Negara Santubong as he wanted to climb up Mount Santubong. However, when he returned to fetch his car he was shocked to find that the car has been broken into.

His wallet containing RM150, personal documents, credit cards and ATM cards and handphone left inside the car were missing.
