MIRI: A woman was found dead, and her male companion unconscious inside a car parked at Jalan Miri Pujut, Pelita Commercial Centre, early this morning.
Members of the public who made the discovery around 8 am immediately alerted the police.
The victims were found in a vehicle with the engine still running.
Firefighters were called to the scene to assist in unlocking the car, allowing first responders to reach the unconscious pair.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause or motive behind the incident.
The condition of the male victim, who was still breathing at the time of discovery, remains unknown.
Miri police have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
