KUCHING: A 45-year-old woman yesterday lodged a police report that her handbag had been snatched by a motorcyclist.
The victim, who works with the Orang Ulu Association at Jalan P Ramlee, said the incident happened at 3.40pm on Thursday as she was about to get into her car.
She claimed she lost RM350 in cash, her MyKad and other personal documents.
In a separate case, a self-employed man from Semariang lodged a police report that his friend’s car bearing registration plate QMB 8552 which was lent to him, was broken into on Thursday night after he parked the car in front of a mosque at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman.
The driver’s side window was broken but nothing was stolen from the car.
Meanwhile, a 42-year-old woman reported that her rented house at Jalan Song had been broken into.
Missing from the house were a gas cylinder, DVD player, car tyres and a set of keys.
Her total loss was estimated at RM2,450.
Police are investigating the break-in.
