MIRI: A woman in her 50s lost not only RM500 in cash to thieves on Tuesday afternoon, but also several important documents inside her car.
It was believed that the thieves had sneaked into the victim’s car when she entered a house to get her
grandchildren.
The incident occurred around 2pm in front of her house at Jalan Pujut 7 here.
According to sources, prior to the incident, the victim had left her car engine running unattended, with her handbag left inside the vehicle.
When she re-entered the car she realised her handbag was missing.
A police report has been lodged by the victim at Miri Central police station (CPS).
