SARIKEI: Assistant Minister of Workforce Development and Training, Datu Len Talif Salleh yesterday handed over  a  house built under the project for the hardcore poor (PPRT) to Rosnah Abdullah at Sare  here.

“PPRT   is one of the housing programmes developed by the government to provide houses to the people,” he said at the ceremony.

Also present was Sarikei Resident, Mohd Junaidi Mohidin.

Len, who is also the State Assemblyman for Kuala Rajang, said everyone needed comfortable places to live  in.

“In this regard, I would like to remind all parties to be   proactive in   identifying any individual who is eligible to receive government assistance.

“This noble effort also needs cooperation from community leaders, the Village Security and Development Committees (JKKKs) and other relevant agencies,” he added.
