SIBU: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Dudong branch has proposed a candidate for the coming state election in the person of its chairman, Wong Ching Yong.
Its honorary advisor Datuk Dr Soon Choon Teck announced this during the branch’s Chinese New Year dinner here last Monday night.
He hoped that all the members would give undivided support to Wong to win the constituency.
“All of us … the party members must fully support and cooperate with each other as the victories would augur well for the constituents.
“We can win state seats here in Sibu if we support and cooperate with one another to ensure victory,” he said.
“All party members should support Wong so that we can win in the next state election,” he said at the same dinner where Dr Soon also celebrated his birthday.
