Suborn — to persuade (someone) to do something illegal (such as to lie in a court of law; to obtain (false testimony) from a witness by persuasion.

Common grammar mistake to avoid

Emigrate vs Immigrate
“Emigrate” and “immigrate” are easy to confuse because they both relate to moving from one country to another. Although both are similar in meaning, but there is a difference.

“Emigrate” means to leave one country and settle in another. “Emigrate” focuses on the point of departure.
Example: When I was five, my family emigrated from Australia to Singapore.

“Immigrate” means to enter a new country with the purpose of staying there. “Immigrate” focuses on the point of arrival.
Example: When I was five, my family immigrated to Singapore from Australia.
