BAU: Community leaders and village heads (KMKK) in Tasik Biru have been told to work together to serve the constituents.

Assistant Minister of Transport Datuk Henry Harry Jinep said this would ensure that the people’s interests are being prioritised.

The Tasik Biru assemblyman explained that a new approach would be implemented to ensure that requests and needs of the constituents could be brought to his attention.

“There are several issues faced by the people which the village heads have been informed but no forwarded to me.”

“The KMKK must record every application from the people and submit it to me for my own evaluation every month.

“This is because the Tasik Biru constituency is very large and time constraint restricts me to fully focus on all areas,” he said during a dinner with KMKK of Singai area at Bodang Grill, Kampung Apar recently.

On the issue of Pimuung Singai land, Henry urged the KMKK to act immediately in accordance with the law to claim rights to the land so that it can be allocated accordingly to villages or rightful individuals.
