LAWAS: Government departments and agencies are called to work together with leaders in order to provide the best service to the community.
In stating this, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said such cooperation included those who are implementing development projects so that the projects could be completed according to the scheduled time frame.
“The cooperation between those involved is important. Therefore, I want the department responsible for the implementation of projects to make an assessment so that the project will not be delayed.
“We want our areas in Limbang and Lawas to develop together with other areas,” he said as reported by UKAS.
He said this during the Sejambak Budi Appreciation Night at Hotel Seri Malaysia last Sunday (Dec 11).
Meanwhile, touching on the unity government, he stated that the Premier complied with the order of the King for its establishment for the sake of national unity and stability.
“With that, we want the Prime Minister to continue to pay attention to our rights and the development needs of Sarawak.
“We want the new federal government to respect our religious freedom and customs because multi-racial in Sarawak.
“Furthermore, the federal government should also respect the powers we have such as immigration, taxes and many more,” he said.
