KUCHING: An Indonesian worker who was assigned to take care of a fish aquarium at a restaurant in Megacity Mall here died of his injures at Sarawak General Hospital at 3am yesterday after he went berserk and jumped of a room on the second floor of their dormitory on Tuesday night.
The worker in his 20s had been hired by the restaurant for only five days.
According to his colleagues, while they were about to sleep, the victim began bashing his head against the walls. They tried to restrain him but instead he dashed to a window and jumped.
An ambulance arrived at the scene to take the seriously injured worker to the Sarawak General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 3am yesterday.
Police are investigating the case.
