MIRI: A quarrel involving two men and a woman was reportedly sparked by a bet over World Cup 2018 at a house in Pin Fook garden on last Tuesday.
Fortunately, no injury was reported in the incident as no physical assault was involved.
According to a closed source, prior to the incident which reportedly happened around 9pm, one of the individuals involved had come to the house for a casual gathering.
However, quarrel ensued when one of them spoke up about the World Cup 2018 bet and those losing in the bet should pay for a dinner.
However, one of them disagreed, which later triggered the quarrel.
A police report was lodged by one of the individuals at Miri Central Police Station (CPS).
