MUKAH: Wushu Sanda and Wushu Taolu Central Zone 2024 camp received a positive response from students around Mukah Division.

It was joined by a total of 60 students at Chong Boong Chinese National Type School (SJKC), here, recently.

According to the Chairman of the Dragon Dance, Lion Dance and Wushu Division Mukah Association Ho Ing Siong, this camp was held to promote the Wushu Sanda event among students.

“In addition, it also introduces them more deeply about this event.

“At the same time, this camp is also one of the platforms to select talented students to participate in the upcoming competition,” he told Suara Sarawak.

He said, they made this camp to see the potential of students who are eligible to participate in the XXI Malaysian Games (SUKMA) in the future.

With this camp, they can choose students who are eligible to participate in wushu competitions.

Accordingly, State Assemblyman Tellian Royston Valentine completed the closing ceremony of the camp.
