KUCHING: Yayasan HABIB recently donated 100 boxes of basic pantry items, 10 kilogrammes of rice, and 100 fresh chickens to those in need in Kampung Haji Baki.
The donation was distributed by Pertubuhan Sukarelawan Muslim Malaysia (MVM) together with Ariannarose Malaysia (Sarawak) and was assisted by Persatuan Penduduk Kampung Haji Baki.
The recipients of the donation were the B40 group, people with disabilities (OKU) and asnaf (those who are eligible) who reside in Kampung Haji Baki.
The handover ceremony was held at Dewan Komuniti Kampung Haji Baki on today (April 3).
Present during the ceremony were MVM Selangor representative Imran Moindari, Ariannarose representative Arianarose as well as representative from Kampung Haji Baki, including Penghulu Sabtuyah Mohd Yusuf and Baslie Sulaiman, among other notable guests.
