MUKAH: Thirty pints of blood were collected during a blood donation exercise held here last Saturday.
It was organised by Life Care Society of Sarawak Mukah Branch (LCSSM) in collaboration with Mukah District Hospital and Medan Mall Supermarket.
LCSSM chairman, Yek Wee Ping was glad that the event received good response from locals.
Held at the lobby of the supermarket, the event is organised five times a year by the society.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who come to this event especially the blood donors. My thanks also go to the medical staff, supermarket and members of our organisation for making it another successful blood donation drive,” Yek said.
