BETONG: Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in making our state and country more developed and competitive.
Deputy Minister Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu said this means coming up with creative ideas and starting businesses as a way for our country to get out of middle-income trap.
“That’s why I see programmes like these as very important. They should keep running and expanding, considering the challenges we face today,” he said when officiating at the Youth Entrepreneurs Setup (YES) programme here recently.
The Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak (MYSED) organised the programme to listen to the dreams of young entrepreneurs and give them an early taste of what starting businesses is like.
