MIRI: Calling all lensmen. Chance for you to take your best shots and see if they are good enough to win the ‘Lensa Ramadan’(Ramadan Lens) and Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2022 photo contest.

The ongoing month-long photography competition from April 16-May 16 is the effort of the Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA).

The good thing about the competition is that each participant can submit up to five entries and there are no entry fees. Entries must be submitted before the deadline to nsja.miri@gmail.com.

Here are some of the competition rules:

• Submitted photos or images should be in JPEG format, and shall not be less than 1.5MB and not more than 3MB in size.
• Participants must include their name, IC number, contact number and email addresses.

Now for the prizes. The first, second and third prize winners will each receive a certificate and a cash prizes of RM500, RM300 and RM200 respectively.

The fourth prize winner and three consolation winners will each receive cash prizes of RM150 and RM50 respectively.

And if your photo is ‘most liked’ and ‘most shared’, you will receive cash of RM150, a certificate and a bag of rice.

In support of the event, IANA Corporation Sdn Bhd, which is sponsoring 16 hampers worth a total of RM2,600, handed over the sponsorship to NSJA at a simple ceremony yesterday at the Siti Payung Kek Lapis outlet, Miri Waterfront.

IANA chief executive officer Mohammad Hafidz Rohan handed over the sponsorship.
