KUCHING: Ministry of Youth, Sport and Solidarity recently held a study visit to Sabah.
The delegation had been led by the Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
While also joined by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Solidarity, Kameri Affandi and CEO of Sarawak Sports Corporation (SSC), Dr Ong Kong Swee.
The visit was to provide experience to Sarawak Sports School and meet with colleagues in the Ministry of Youth and Sports Sabah.
During the visit, Datuk Haji Abdul Karim had an opportunity to meet and had lunch with Sarawak students who studying in an elite school in Sabah.
The delegation of Sarawak also briefed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Sabah and the Institute of Sports Sabah.
They also visited the Sabah Sports Board.
Also present was Sabah’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan.
