BETONG: Ministry of Youth and Sports together with Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports, in collaboration with Laser Light Recreational Sports Club (KSRLL) will organise a Youth Fun Run (Betong) 2017 in conjunction with the State Level Youth Day celebration to be held on Oct 29 (Sunday).
According to the event spokesperson, Saiful Hanizam Suhaini, the Youth Fun Run Betong 2017 participant is open to the public from yesterday until Oct 28 in which, participants are limited to 250 only. “With themed, ‘Aram Kitai Belandak’, the Fun Run will be divided into four categories namely, Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Veteran 40 years and above and Women’s Veteran 40 years and above.
“All participants will run for a distance of 5.5km star t ing from Dewan Tan Sri Datuk Amar Stephen Kalong Ningkan Betong,” he said here yesterday, adding the organizer also encouraged participants below 18 years to join the Run.
According to him, the first 200 participants who successfully completed the run within the time given will received a finisher medal.
“We are targeting 250 entries and registration session will also take place on Oct 28 from 9am to 5pm.
