SRI AMAN: An evening bath among friends at Sungai Nanga Entalau Skrang turned tragic after one of them went missing yesterday.
The missing person has been identified as 21-year-old Tay Xian Wei.
A spokesman from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Betong were sent to the scene after receiving a call from the police around 7.15pm.
Prior to the incident, the victim was bathing in the river with five of his friends.
All of a sudden, he disappeared and is feared drowned.
Firefighters and Skrang police quickly initiated a search and rescue operation to look for the victim.
