KUCHING: A youth pre-assembly programme, co-organised by Urbanice Malaysia and Angkatan Zaman Mansang Sarawak (AZAM), in collaboration with other various partners were be held here.
The pre-assembly programme to bring together like-minded youth, allowing them to shape and design the Youth Assembly, is scheduled for Nov 4 at Sarawak State Library (PUSTAKA), in conjunction with the Malaysia Urban Forum 2023.
“The results of the pre-assembly will define the key topics for discussion during the Assembly, identify quick wins, build a youth network in Malaysia, and propose projects that can leave a lasting impact as the legacy of the youth group in the Malaysia Urban Forum.
“The participants of the pre-assembly consist of youth from both online participation and physical attendance. representing various organisations and agencies including the AZAM Young Souls, Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association (SDGA), Adab Youth Garage, Parlimen Belia Sarawak, Kelab Belia Perkasa Stapok, Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM) Sarawak, Kelab Belia Pro aktif, Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Sarawak, and Sarawak Esports Association,” AZAM Sarawak said in a press release.
It added that the platform is not just intended for the exchange of ideas and knowledge, but also to create an impact among the younger generation in shaping their environment and building networks to support critical agendas.
