KUCHING: Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) Secretary-General Datuk Jonathan Chai Voon Tok led a 12-member delegation on a courtesy visit to Deputy Minister Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development (Entrepreneur Development) Datuk Dr Ripin Lamat at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly Complex here, toda.,

The visit aimed to discuss the Sarawak Youth StartUp Programme, scheduled for December 7 to 14, at the Sarawak Sports Village in Kuching.

The ACCCIS is one of the strategic partners for this event, and both parties will collaborate closely to ensure the success of the programme.

The programme aims to support early-stage youth entrepreneurs by providing guidance, resources, and essential skills to ensure sustainable growth and long-term success for their startups.

The programme targets 300 youth participants, aged 18 to 40, from across Sarawak, offering free meals and accommodation.

The programme in collaboration with Sarawak and federal agencies, will offer mentorship and intensive courses on topics such as company registration, financial management, business planning, market evaluation, branding, halal certification, franchising, trademark registration, social enterprises, creative industries, and government support schemes.

Local Chinese youth, including fresh graduates, unemployed graduates, school-leavers, and those interested in entrepreneurship, are encouraged to seize this opportunity and register at https://forms.gle/AmfszArYn9bJj8Ty7.
