SERIAN: A man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a bus at KM2, Jalan Baki-Riih on Saturday at 5.15pm.
State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said the accident occurred when the motorcyclist swerved into the opposite lane and collided with a bus.
“The victim, Thembsone Anthony, 27, who hailed from Kampung Riih Daso, was thrown off his motorcycle and suffered severe head injuries and a broken leg,” he said.
Following the crash, Thembsone was rushed to Serian Hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The bus driver, however, was unhurt.
