The incident, involving a car and a pickup truck, happened around 9.15pm near Tabuan Heigh Phase when both vehicles were moving in opposite directions.

Sarawak Traffic Police chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu when contacted, said the car driven by the 19-year-old victim that was moving towards Tabuan Laru from Jalan Tun Jugah was believed to have gone out of control and swerved into the opposite lane.
