KUCHING: Youth aged 18 and above are encouraged to join MyVacc volunteers at the Vaccination Centre (PPV) at Tatau Sports Hall.
Tatau acting District Officer Calvin Ligong said volunteers were needed so that the vaccination process at the centre would run smoothly.
“It will be best for youth who are in good health, especially those waiting to continue their studies, to volunteer and help with the process.
“Those interested can contact the Bintulu Division Youth and Sports Department directly,” he said.
Lingong hoped vaccine recipients in Tatau district were aware of their appointment dates either through the MySejahtera application or their village head or Tuai Rumah.
“The District Office has shared the list of vaccine recipients that has been issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH) on social media platforms such as the Tatau District KMKK WhatsApp Group.
“In addition, the public may also contact their respective Tuai Rumah or the Tatau Health Clinic at 086-584289 or the Tatau District Office at 086-584349 to confirm their names in the list of recipients.
“If you are listed, it is better to notify your relatives or family members so that you will not miss your appointments,” he said.
Lingong also hoped that the vaccination process in this district would proceed smoothly with the cooperation of all parties.
He urged the public to continue complying with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and bear in mind that social activities during this movement control order (MCO) were strictly prohibited.
