MUKAH: Sixty needy Muslims from Mukah District received zakat from National Farmers Organisation (NAFAS) yesterday.
They are some of the selected 100 members of AFO Mukah from the area who attended a zakat presentation event at Recoda Building, here.
The programme organised by Area Farmers Organisation of Mukah (AFO Mukah) was officiated by Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Haji Arbi.
Also at the function were Mukah Division deputy Resident Jack Aman Luat, AFO Mukah general manager Pakasa B Agat and AFO Mukah chairman Manuchihr Smith.
According to Pakasa, for the programme, they had prepared a zakat of RM150 per recipient for a total of 150 recipients from Mukah and Balingian.
