PUTRAJAYA: The service and dedication of every member of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia should be remembered by every Malaysian.
Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin in a statement issued yesterday in conjunction with the International Firefighters’ Day 2019, said the commitment and enthusiasm shown by every personnel of the department in carrying out their daily duties was indisputable.
“To all members of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, continue your excellence service for the beloved country,” she said.
“Happy International Firefighters’ Day. The department is the Pillar of National Rescue efforts,” she added. – Bernama
